Boston - Great Dane - SPECIAL NEEDS

Boston is a 6-7 year old, 120 lbs, Black, Great Dane, with natural ears and extremely tall super model build. He was turned into rescue along with his Wolfhound friend, Shamrock, because their owner lost her house and could no longer care for them. Prior to being adopted him from another rescue in Florida, he was burned with battery acid on his back leaving a big scar. Boston is an incredibly friendly, loving and affectionate dog who deserves only the best! He is house trained, not destructive with free raom, walks nicely on a leash, and knows Down and Stay so far. He does an adorable prace when he goes for walks and is a true gentle giant who loves to lean. He is a very special, deserving guy looking for a wonderful forever family! He is good with dogs and kids and doesn't have a mean bone in his body.

Boston has been diagnosed with arthritis and a disc compression issue which causes his back to be very weak and limits his ability to do stairs, but he would do great in a ranch style home with carpet runners in areas with wood floors. Our vet believes he still has a year or 2 left of quality of life, so he is ready to go to the right home willing to take on a special needs dog with limited time His pain is well managed with daily Vetprofen(anti-inflammatory).
