Carly is a 1.5-2 year old, 95 lb, Fawn, English Mastiff female. This poor girl has been through the ringer and was originally found running at a truck stop for a couple months and when she was finally caught she was then chained up outside and neglected until coming into rescue. Needless to say, she is extremely shy & fearful and needs a lot of work on confidence building and learning to trust people! Carly is house trained and she has chosen the bedroom as her safe place where she relaxes in the crate or on either the human or dog bed. She is starting to become more curious and wanting to venture beyond her comfort zone, but it is a slow process and being in a house, on a leash, and part of a family are all new concepts for her. She will need a very patient, loving family with a quiet home where her personality can continue to emerge. Carly has shown absolutely no aggression toward anyone or anything and does fine with other dogs and cats although she isn't very playful yet. She would do best in a home without children due to their activity level. She is treat motivated and has even started to do the zoomies in the back yard!
