Cody is a very regal looking 4.5 year old, Boston Merle, male Great Dane. He was a victim of divorce and ended up in rescue due to no fault of his own. He grew up with two young children and is very sweet and gentle with kids. Cody also shared his former home with a teacup poodle but hasn't been around many other dogs so we'll be working on socialization. He is house trained, not destructive, and a typical Dane couch potatoe. He is a very loving, laid back, mellow boy who enjoys walks and is devoted to his humans!

Cody will be participating in our 2nd Prison Training Program at the Nebraska Youth Correctional Facility starting on February 15th for 12 weeks. He'll be learning all of his basic commands and will have an opportunity to earn his Good Canine Citizen Award at the conclusion. He'll be playing a critical role in teaching inmates about empathy, compassion, responsibility and more!
