Melody is a beautiful, 2 year old, female Dogue de Bordeaux(French Mastiff). She was surrendered to a shelter because her owner was moving and couldn't afford to get her the care she needed. She has bi-lateral hip displaysia, a broken tail, and is very thin, so BDHPI will be getting her the care she needs and keeping her as comfortable as possible while she awaits surgery. Melody is a couch potato, housebroken, knows basic commands including shake, and she is good with other dogs, cats, and children. She is a wonderful, gentle, compassionate and friendly dog who deserves a pain free future and find a wonderful forever home where she will be loved and cherished like she deserves!

Melody will be having surgery 1st to amputate her injured tail. She will then undergo 2 FHO hip surgeries in the near future. She is currently on MEDICAL HOLD.
